Letterkenny native Charlie McGarvey is continuing to impress in the Irish national team youth ranks, having earned another U15s nod – this time for a prestigious youth tournament.
Now plying his trade with Sligo Rovers, the former Finn Harps and Illistrin shot stopper has been called up for the Ireland squad to play in the upcoming Torneo Delle Nazioni tournament in Italy – marking his fifth international call-up.
The twelve-team tournament gathers some of the best Under-15s international teams on the planet to face off against eachother, taking place in scenic northeastern Italy.
Ireland have been drawn against Czechia and Austria in their group at the competition this weekend.
The Boys in Green will play their Czech opponents today, before the group-decider against Austria on Sunday.
