Finn Harps six-match unbeaten run came to an end in Cork tonight as they crashed to a 3-1 away defeat.

However, it was just a bump in the road for Kevin McHugh’s young side as third placed Cobh just proved too strong on the night.
Harps went into the game having won two and drawn two of their last four while the Cork outfit has now won two in a row, having lost the previous three on the trot.
The visitors did have chances though. In the 22nd minute, Patrick Ferry tried to finish a counter attack but his effort was parried away by Timothy Martin.
The home side went ahead from a David Bošnjak effort after 28 minutes, then doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time when Barry Coffey rounded David Aviaya before slotting home.
Things went from bad to worse for the visitors four minutes after the restart when Cian Bargary put them three ahead.
The in-form Dara McGuinness pulled one back for Harps in the 66th minute, however, it was as close as they were to get to Cobh.
It will be a long bus journey home tonight, but the Ballybofey side will hope to get the show back on the road at home to Treaty Utd next Friday night at Finn Park.
