Brave Donegal twins, Aoibhinn and Alice McGowan, yesterday got the chop in aid of two worthy cancer charities.
The ten-year-olds from Falcarragh popped into Hairdos-Makeup in Churchill to get their locks cut in order to raise funds for LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.
And their excess hair will go to the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for those who are undergoing treatment.
At just 18 months, Aoibhinn herself battled cancer and was offered a wig during her treatment. Needless to day, she is glad to give a little back.
To date, the the girls have raised more than €1,200 through their iDonate page.
