A woman in her 80s has perished following a house fire in Dublin.
The fire broke out in the Mountain Park estate in Tallaght last night just before 7pm.
Gardai and the emergency services rushed to the scene of the blaze.
However, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A postmortem will be carried out on her body, while gardaí will conduct a technical exam of the scene.
