A man remains in hospital following an assault and altercation in Letterkenny that took place on the night of Easter Sunday.
The incident happened outside a licenced premises in the town on Upper Main Street, between 9:05pm and 9:10pm.
A man aged in his 50s suffered serious injuries in the assault, and remains in Letterkenny University Hospital where he is being treated.
Gardaí have launched an appeal for information about the incident.
Anyone who was in the area of Upper Main Street Letterkenny at that time, or at the licenced premises in question, has been asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station.
Road users who were travelling in the area at the time and have a dash cam have also been asked to make that footage available to investigating Gardaí.
