A free “walk and talk” evening will teach adults and children alike about bats.
The workshop will take participants through an introductory talk about the fascinating flying mammals.
It is being hosted by Rathmullan Tidy Towns and ChangeMakers, as part of their “Chats for Change” environmental workshops.
The workshops encourage the public to embrace local environmental education for global impact, and delve into how our actions at grass roots level can fit into the bigger picture.
Aengus Kennedy of Nature North West will facilitate the workshop, which will get underway at the Vincent de Paul Centre Rathmullan at 8pm tomorrow night, Tuesday.
After some refreshments and the introductory talk, the group will then head onto the grounds of Batts Walk in search of some real-life bats.
Intending participants are requested to pay heed to the weather forecast and dress suitably for an outdoor event.
