Four entrepreneurial Transition Year (TY) students literally lent a helping hand to Donegal star Michael Langan in Clones on Sunday.
The midfielder’s famous high-fielding game was no doubt given a boost by new gloves designed, and made locally, by the LJS Sports mini company at Coláiste na Carriage in Carrick.
The TY firm at the south west Donegal school – made up of Jayden Cannon, Liam Hardy, Shay Doherty and Lewis Cunnea – also supply their unique mitts to county players, Aaron Doherty and Jonny Carlin.

“We are a mini company from Coláiste na Carriage that sells GAA gloves and we are thrilled to have supplied some county stars with our gloves for the year ahead,” spokesman Jayden Cannon said.
Langan’s excellent ball handling on Sunday was no doubt down to the Carrick students and their Donegal designed and made gloves!
