Finn Harps hope to continue their good run this evening when they travel to take on Dundalk in the SSE Airtricity League First Division.
Kick-off is 5pm against the runaway league leaders at Oriel Park.
Harps will be without the injured Max Johnston (main pic) and there are also doubts over veteran David Cawley and goalkeeper, David Aziaya. However, the talented teenage netminder, Oisin Cooney, could reclaim his place after an unconvincing performance between the posts by Aziaya in Friday night’s 4-2 victory over Kerry FC at Finn Park.
Kevin McHugh told club media: “Look Dundalk are heavy favourites and are flying at the minute, they are still undefeated so it will be a big test for us but we’re on a good run of form ourselves so we’ll see how things go.”
“We’ve a few bodies down and will be forced into changes between knocks and having a long run to Cobh on Friday but that’s what the squad is for. There is energy there, and when you put that trust in them and put them on the pitch they repay you, so we’re hoping for the same again come Monday. ”
Dundalk are on top of the pile on 26 points, while Harps lie in joint sixth with Treaty Utd on 12 points.
