There is shock in west Donegal this morning after St Mary’s Church in Derrybeg was destroyed in an overnight fire.
It is understood to have started at around 4am.
Firefighters battled the blaze through the night and, along with Gardaí, remain at the scene.
No injuries have been reported and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
