Late Wexford goal denies Harps victory

A late Wexford goal denied Finn Harps all three points at Ferrycarrig Park this evening.

Kevin McHugh’s side were trailing one nil at the break after Mikie Walsh-Rowe goal in the 12th minute.

However, battled well in the second half and were on level terms thanks to a Dara McGuinness goal in the 49th minute.

Captain Tony McNamee stepped up and had the visitors on pole position when he netted in the 69th minute.

It looked as if they might hang on and help Kevin McHugh to his first victory as Harps but Wexford’s Calum Flynn had other ideas when he netted his side’s equaliser in the 85h minute.
