A man has been arrested following a daylight robbery and assault on Main Street Buncrana in recent weeks.
On Thursday the 27th of March, an altercation took place between two men. One of the men was assaulted by the other and his wallet was stolen.
After a public appeal for witnesses, gardaí today report that the suspect has been arrested and charged.
A spokesperson said: “We would like to thank anybody who may have assisted in any way with this investigation. We are always grateful for the assistance of the public with our investigations. The co-operation of the public is crucial to the work that we do.”
