Rathmullan’s Pier services building will be shut for a period of time this weekend following a shocking incident of vandalism.
Local Councillor Pauric McGarvey made the announcement via social media this morning.
“Due to vandalism yesterday evening Rathmullan Public Services will be closed for a period of time to get them operational,” the councillor said.
“It has been reported to Donegal County Council and hopefully (they will be) re-opened at the nearest convenience.”
It’s understood that Gardaí have launched an investigation into the incident.
“Gardai are currently reviewing CCTV and hopefully the people responsible will be held accountable,” Cllr McGarvey said.
