Young athletes from County Donegal are gearing up to compete in the Ulster Community Games Finals in Cavan this weekend.
Donegal will be strongly represented across a variety of disciplines, with teams participating in basketball, futsal, chess, quiz, and table tennis.
The journey to Cavan will be supported by many parents and guardians. Manus O’Donnell, the Co-chairman of Donegal Community Games, extended his best wishes to all competitors. He encouraged everyone to embrace the experience of participating in the Ulster finals and to enjoy the competition. Mr. O’Donnell also holds the role of Basketball Coordinator for the county.
Tony McCarry will be coordinating the table tennis teams for Donegal. Cathal Hagan, the Donegal Community Games County Treasurer, also issued his best wishes to all the Donegal competitors heading to Cavan.
