Raphoe Family Resource Centre provide Computer and internet access, photocopying, CV preparation and weekly employment lists via email. Drop-in Support Clinic – Convoy
Raphoe Family Resource Centre in conjunction with Finn Valley FRC are hosting a Drop In Support Clinic based in St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Convoy from 10am to 12pm on the following dates: April 3rd & 17th, May 1st & 15th and June 5th & 19th 2025.

Looking for Work? – DLDC Employment Support Workshop
DLDC will provide employment support to include:
- Weekly job lists
- Job searching
- Assistance with applications
- CV preparation/cover letters
- Interview preparation/Mock interviews

Let’s Walk – Walking Group
Do you like to get out and about in the fresh air? Do you enjoy a walk with company? Bring your buggy! Why not join our walking group? The walking group meet at the Family Resource Centre on Tuesdays & Thursday morning at 10.30AM. Join us in the Resource Centre after for a wee cuppa! Everyone Welcome!
Women’s Group

Little Smiles with Big Dreams Mother & Toddler Group
Raphoe Family Resource Centre’s Little Smiles with Big Dreams Toddler Group meets every Wednesday from 10.30 to 12 Noon. A great way to increase your little one’s confidence and get to know others of similar age. Cost €2 per child. The group hosts fun activities and workshops throughout the year. Raphoe Men’s Shed
The Men’s Shed group meet every Thursday at 12 Noon in “The Shed”. We look forward to seeing all our members and welcoming any new members! Family Support
As a parent or guardian, parenting is one of the most rewarding things you will ever do, however the Family Resource Centre recognises at times life throws up challenges and these can be overwhelming. Some examples of the support we can offer; making routines, establishing boundaries and dealing with challenging behaviours. The Family Resource Centre can help through listening ear, parenting programmes, one to one support, and a drop-in clinic to offer support on issues that are affecting home life. Seniors Alert Scheme
Raphoe Family Resource Centre is registered under the Dept of Rural, Community Development and the Gaeltacht Senior Alert Scheme to provide personal alarms to those over 65 years living alone for significant periods of time during the day, or is a carer to someone else in their household. The purpose of the scheme is to enable older persons of limited means to continue to live securely in their own homes with confidence, independence and peace of mind providing them with a free personal monitored alarm which can be worn as a pendant or around their wrist like a watch. S.T.A.R.T Project
Would you like to talk to someone about your concerns around drugs/alcohol? Free, confidential – non-judgemental service providing up to date information and practical supports, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness practices, Brief Solution Focus Therapy and the Smart Recovery Principles.

Raphoe Boxing Club
It was to be yet again another great weekend for the local boxing club when Royal & Prior Comprehensive School student Taylor Parke won his third National Boxing Championship title in Dublin. “The Blonde Bomber” stopped his opponent Gerard O’ Lonney Tipperary midway through the second round and was crowned youth 46 Kilo champion for 2025. Next up for Raphoe boxers will be the N.W. Zone Championships to be staged in Clonmany on Saturday & Sunday 5th & 6th April and Raphoe boxers Hanalee Peoples and Harry Magee will both be entered for these championships with the winners here going forward to the Ulster Finals in Derry on Saturday 12th April.
Crazy Candy Shack Entertainments Family Variety show
A family variety show featuring magic, Kazoo the Clown, Circus tricks and much more will take place in Raphoe Congregational Hall on Saturday 29th March 2025 at 5.00PM. Doors open at 4.30PM, show starts at 5PM. €10 per person. To book or for more info call 0858011903
