Tyrone 3-11 v 1-09 Armagh
Donegal’s Minor footballers have cruised through to the Ulster League Final after a dominant display against Armagh this afternoon.
They made full use of their home advantage at the O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny, as Joseph Gibbons struck an early goal for Donegal.
That would soon be cancelled out by an Armagh effort that struck the back of the net, but was still enough to give Donegal a four-point lead headed into the half-time interval, 1-09 to 1-05.
Scoring was sparse for Donegal in the second half – but the ones they did land were more than enough to secure a Final berth.
Joe Doherty and Matthew Enright both scored goals to put the game out of sight, and set up a fascinating derby clash in the Ulster Minor League Final against Tyrone.
