There were big celebrations at an east Donegal hardware store today when one of its most loyal staff members celebrated 50 years service.
Killygordon woman, Mary McMenamin, has now worked with three generations of the McCreary family and she has no plans to retire.
One of Ireland’s oldest continuously run family businesses, Topline McCrearys was established at Crossroads in 1860. Darren McCreary is the fifth generation of the clan at the helm and made a special presentation to Mary earlier (main pic).
“Congratulations to Mary, she has been with us for 50 years today,” Topline McCrearys posted on their Facebook page.
