Last Thursday night, An Grianan Theatre was alive with talent as Errigal College held its much-anticipated annual variety show.
The event showcased an exciting lineup of performers, each bringing their unique flair to the stage. From stunning vocals to electrifying dance moves, the night was a celebration of student creativity.
Among the standout acts were Grace Collett, whose powerful performance captivated the audience, and Eden & Charlie, who wowed with their harmonious duet.
Lucky Beats—featuring Chika, Goodluck, and Jesse—brought high energy and rhythm, while Kendra Ponsonby delivered a show-stopping solo performance that earned her first place on the night (yes, that Ponsonby!).
Adrian & Josephine’s comedic routine had the crowd in stitches, while Jacob Parenti’s heartfelt act left a lasting impression.
Cillian Orr took the stage with impressive musical talent, and Vittoria Tagliavini’s graceful performance was nothing short of mesmerizing.
Synchronize brought their impressive dance choreography, and Freya Mc Clafferty’s soulful voice echoed through the theatre. Ayesha Moyo also took part, showcasing her skill and passion for performance, as did Eirinn H. Farfan, who earned a well-deserved third place in 3rd year.
As the night drew to a close, the audience was on the edge of their seats, eager to hear the results. The talented Lucky Beats dancers claimed second place, with their energetic performance stealing the show.
But it was Kendra Ponsonby, a first-year student, who took home the coveted first-place prize, winning over the judges and the crowd with her outstanding performance.
The guest judges for the evening were Noel Cunningham, Sinead Black, and ‘Adgy,’ who had the tough job of selecting the winners from such a talented pool of performers.
Well done to all involved, from the performers to the organisers, for making this year’s variety show an unforgettable evening!
