Harps manager and three players make ‘Team of the Week’

Dogged Finn Harps manager, Darren Murphy, and three of his players have been named on the League of Ireland First Division Team of the Week.

Kevin Jordan, Max Hutchison and Gavin Hodgins are the members of his playing staff to make the cut.

Harps secured their first win of the season with a fantastic 5-0 win over Bray Wanderers at Finn Park on Friday night.

Darren Murphy’s side controlled proceedings from the word go as Max Hutchison scored the first of three goals in the first half.

Gavin Hodgins netted goal number two and Michael Place scored a beauty.

Dara McGuinness bagged the fourth of the night, and the icing was put on the cake when captain Tony McNamee made it five.
