Donegal 0-10 v 0-07 Tipperary
Donegal’s Ladies footballers secured their Division 2 status in the league this afternoon.
They produced a strong second-half performance to secure the win over Tipperary this afternoon in Lifford.
With the sides entering half-time tied at 0-04 apiece, it would be some clinical shooting from the home side that made the difference as both teams would suffer from indiscipline.

At the beginning of the second half Tipperary were reduced to 14 players for 10 minutes, as Anna Rose Kennedy received a yellow card – allowing Donegal to seize a slight advantage as points from Suzanne White, Cait Gillespie and Mia Bennett helped build their lead to three in that time.
In the dying moments Tipperary were able to close the gap to just one point, before Donegal’s Roisin Rodgers was also sent to the sidelines for 10 minutes following a yellow card – and leaving the home side with a tall task to hang on with the scores at 0-08 to 0-07.
It was a task that Donegal could more than match however, as Suzanne White again was the star as she put over a fisted effort to give Donegal a one-goal lead that they would not relinquish.
