Relay For Life Donegal organisers are inviting everyone to a crucial teams information meeting this week in the lead up to another highly anticipated event in May.
The teams meeting takes place on Thursday, 20th March, at the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny, from 7:15 to 9 PM.
Everyone who is interested in finding out what is involved at Relay is invited to come along and hear from existing Team members and their experiences at Relay in previous years.
Chairman of Relay For Life Donegal, Seamus Devine (pictured), has said that interest in Team participation this year is very encouraging.
“There is a great mix so far between new teams getting involved and returning teams from past year coming back again,” said Seamus.
“As a committee, we are always delighted to see such positivity amongst the community and talking to people about what Relay actually is. For new Teams and those interested in taking part, we are always available to chat and explain the event, but one of the best ways to find out more is to meet with those who have journeyed with us before and hear first-hand about their experiences. We’d be delighted to see a large crowd on Thursday evening.”
Relay for Life Donegal will be back at ATU Letterkenny, Co Donegal again this year on 24 May 2025! Relay for Life is a community-driven event that raises vital funds for the Irish Cancer Society while celebrating cancer survivors, remembering loved ones lost, and standing together in the fight against cancer.
