An Endometriosis awareness event will take place in Ballybofey this Thursday 20th March to mark Endometriosis Awareness Month.
The Sinn Féin-led event will feature Senator Maria McCormack from Laois and Donegal Councillor Dakota Nic Mheanman (pictured) as speakers.
Senator McCormack, who has personal experience with Endometriosis, will share insights into the condition’s impact and the urgent need for improved awareness, healthcare, and support.
The session aims to create a safe space for women to learn about Endometriosis, share their personal experiences, and discuss next steps in advocating for change.
“This event is part of a nationwide movement to push for change. Together, we will shape a future where women with Endometriosis get the recognition and care they deserve on our island,” said Senator McCormack.
All are welcome to the meeting on March 20th at 5pm in the Villa Rose Hotel Ballybofey.
For more information or to inquire about attending, please contact Senator Maria McCormack at maria.mccormack@oireachtas.ie or Councillor Dakota Nic Mheanman at dakotanicmheanman@donegalcoco.ie.
