Donegal Dubai GAA enjoyed a supremely successful first season, capped off by three league title wins last week.
The newly-formed club had five teams enter the final round of the league with all to play for, with RAK Ropairí GAA at Ras Al Kaimah playing host.
There were big successes for the Men’s C, Men’s D social and Ladies’ D sides, as they both claimed titles on the day.
The Men’s C team were victorious in an all-Donegal final, with Captain Conor Gibbons named as Player of the Tournament.
The league wins also secured promotion for two of the sides, who will be competing at Men’s Junior B and Ladies’ Junior C level next year, in Dubai’s highly competitive league system.
The evening ended with a presentation of a signed Donegal jersey from Club county board representative Cieran Kelly to the club, for use as a prize at the club’s end of year banquet.
All-in-all, over 75 players played for Donegal Dubai in a highly successful first year for the side.
