An impressive coastal home in Donegal will be one of the three properties on this week’s edition of Home of the Year on RTE One.

The hugely-popular property show is heading to the Donegal coast to meet a couple who built a luxury home with a split-level layout to maximise their amazing sea views.

Local couple Michaela and Stephen will be opening their doors to judges Hugh Wallace, Amanda Bone and new judge Siobhan Lam as they tour the rooms and critique every detail.

‘This classically designed home represents the pinnacle of coastal living’ – Des Ewing Architects

The stunning new build, designed by architect Des Ewing, took three years to complete.

Michaela and Stephen furnished their interiors with a classic style with modern touches which are perfect for their young family of three children. They love their coastal views and bright large open spaces for watching the sunset and entertaining.

This home will feature on Home of the Year on Tuesday 18th March at 8.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, alongside properties in Dublin and Galway.
