Tonight’s edition of Nationwide on RTE will be heading to Fanad Lighthouse for some jigs and reels from Donegal.
Celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge, the show will feature the Gallagher Sisters from Fanad, who have turned their love of Irish dance into a story of success.
Samantha and Victoria set up their own Irish dance school, Scoil Rince Ní Ghallchóir, two years ago, reigniting a passion for dance in the community and now eight of their students are preparing to compete at the WIDA World Championships in Belgium this April.
They’ll be sharing their story and showcasing their skill in a segment rich with culture.
