A young Donegal woman who died suddenly in New York is to be remembered in a funeral service this Saturday.
Jenna Shovlin, who was just 31, passed away in Manhattan where she had made a career and home from home for herself.
Formerly of The Rock, Clogher West, Portnoo, Jenna worked with Warner Brothers.
She regularly kept in contact with home and often visited.
This Saturday, March 15, a funeral service will take place with visitation between 4-8pm, at Lynch’s Funeral Home, 43-07 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, New York.
Ardara GAA Club described news of Jenna’s sudden death as “devastating”.
“The news of her passing has left a black cloud over our Parish once more,” the club said.
“Jenna was a beautiful girl who had made a new life for herself in New York, and was a person who made a lasting impression on whoever she met, with a smile that lit up every room she went into.”
Jenna is survived by her heartbroken parents, Frankie and Kathleen, brothers Christopher (Tanya), Keith (Hannah), nieces Lilly and Jodie and extended family and friends.
