A food truck was damaged during an attempted break-in at Chestnut Road in Ballybofey.
Gardai say the incident happened between Sunday the 9th of March at 11.30pm and 8am on Monday the 10th of March.
The owner arrived on the Monday morning to discover that the door was open and the locks had been damaged on the door.
Nothing was stolen from within the truck, however.
A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in that area between Sunday night and Monday morning the make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
“Any relevant information may alternatively be passed on to the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
