The Circular Dress Collaborative in Letterkenny is set to host a unique celebration of sustainable fashion and traditional Irish music this weekend.
The Faisin and Seisiún event, timed perfectly to coincide with St. Patrick’s Day festivities, will take place on Saturday, March 15th, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Collaborative’s premises on the Thorn Road.
All are welcome to the FREE event this Saturday to enjoy a showcase of pre-loved fashion paired with the lively sounds of Clann Bhreathnach, a renowned local musical family band.
“Sustainability isn’t just about making better fashion choices—it’s also about preserving culture and heritage,” said CEO and New York dress designer, Sheila Clancy O’Donnell. “And what better time to bring the two together than on the most significant weekend in the Irish calendar?”
Circular Dress Collaborative, which opened its doors last August, is a hub for eco-conscious consumers. The initiative empowers individuals to participate in the circular economy by providing a platform to sell their pre-loved, high-quality dresses and event-related clothing and accessories. This allows sellers to earn money from garments that might otherwise languish in wardrobes, while simultaneously reducing textile waste destined for landfills.
