Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Executive Chef/Sous Chef with the supervision of the kitchen in their absence.
- Leading a team of chefs and assisting with rostering and staffing arrangements.
- Preparing food orders as they are received in accordance with menu specifications, insuring proper plate presentation
- Attention to portion, cost and waste control and consistency of product delivery and presentation.
- Liaising with Hotel Management throughout the property, with regards to customer needs.
- Assisting in the management of kitchen HACCP.
- Aware of all food/menu requirements on a daily/weekly basis throughout the Hotel.
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the department.

- Able to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
