Letterkenny athlete Arlene Crossan is set to take part in a European Indoor Final in the Netherlands.
Crossan will be a part of the Ireland team that will compete in the women’s 4x400m relay Final this evening.
She joins an Irish lineup that includes Lauren Cadden, Rachel McCann and Cliodhna Manning.
It is a huge opportunity for Arlene to step up on the International stage, and vye for a medal.
The women’s relay team has seen some changes in the run up to the competition, with Irish Olympians Sharlene Mawdsley and Phil Healy both pulling out of the event in recent days.
The 4×400 women’s relay final is live at 5:50pm Irish time.
There is further Donegal interest in the European Indoor Championships, with Mark English set to race in the Men’s 800m Final this afternoon also, with that race getting underway just before 4:30pm.
