Gardaí are investigating the theft of a number plate from a jeep in Donegal Town at the weekend.
The incident occurred in the area of Quay Street sometime between 1.50pm on Saturday and 6.30pm on Sunday.
A black Range Rover had been parked in that area and at some stage between those times the front registration plate was screwed off and stolen from it.
