The jury is now deliberating its verdict in the Sliabh Liag murder trial.
After a trial which lasted almost a month, a verdict is expected in the coming hours at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.
Two people are on trial for the murder of Robert Wilkin whose body was found in the water off the south west Donegal cliffs.
Alan Vial (39) of Drumanoo Head, Killybegs, and Nikita Burns (23) of Carrick, have pleaded not guilty to the murder of the 66-year-old on June 25, 2023.
A number of people including family and friends gave evidence during the trial.
The judge in the trial is Mr Justice Paul McDermot.
The jury were given their issue paper to decide their verdict at 2.05pm but some court insiders suggest it may be tomorrow when a verdict is finally reached.
