Donegal Women’s Centre has announced an exciting opportunity for experienced facilitators to join a panel for upcoming community focused programmes aimed at empowering women in Donegal.
The organisation is seeking passionate, qualified individuals who are dedicated to fostering personal growth and well being for women in the region.
As a facilitator with Donegal Women’s Centre, you will play an essential role in delivering educational, therapeutic, and community programmes that cover a range of vital topics, including personal development, health and well being, confidence and self esteem building, life skills, and social resilience.
Facilitators will be responsible for creating engaging and insightful sessions in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. These programmes will serve a diverse group of women, and the role requires the ability to adapt content to meet the unique needs of participants.
The right candidates should have to have the ability to design and deliver engaging and impactful programmes, adapt content to meet the needs of various groups of women, facilitate open discussions and encourage active participation, assess participant progress and gather feedback to ensure programme effectiveness, provide ongoing support to participants ensuring they have access to resources and mentorship and collaborate with the Centre Manager and other staff to ensure the alignment of programmes with the Centre’s mission.
If you have proven experience in facilitating group programmes or workshops, preferably with women or marginalised communities, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, have knowledge of women’s issues, including mental health, self esteem, and personal development and possess relevant qualifications in education, social care, psychology, health & well being, or similar fields this could be for you.
