Based in Dungloe, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to lead their Menswear Department.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a fast-paced retail environment, drive sales, and enhance the customer shopping experience. The successful candidate should have a passion for fashion, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for trends.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Department Management: Oversee all aspects of the Menswear department, ensuring efficient operations.
- Sales & Performance: Drive sales, achieve KPIs, and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
- Staying up to date with current styles and trends to enhance product selection and merchandising.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, train, and develop a high-performing team to reach their full potential.
- Customer Experience: Build strong customer relationships, promote brand loyalty, and deliver excellence in customer service.
- Managing stock levels, purchasing, and inventory control to ensure availability of key fashion lines.
- Work closely with marketing to plan promotions, events, and enhance store visibility.
- Digital & E-commerce: A good knowledge of online retail and digital marketing is a plus.
- Compliance & Operations: Ensure adherence to health & safety, hygiene, security, and company policies.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work weekdays and weekends as required.
Credentials and Experience
- Proven experience in a fashion retail management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and drive performance.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, team members, and suppliers.
- A keen sense of fashion with knowledge of current menswear trends.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage stock, sales targets, and promotions effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with e-commerce or online trading is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
