A motorist has been arrested speeding at a staggering 175kph in Newtowncunningham last night.
The driver was apprehended by the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit who were operating a speed check on the N13.
The speed limit on the road is 100kph.
The driver was arrested and charged to appear in court.
