Errigal College, Letterkenny, was a hub of innovation and creativity yesterday as it hosted its annual Student Enterprise Day.
Over 30 professionals from various industries attended the event, offering guidance and support to budding young entrepreneurs. With 22 impressive mini-companies on display, students showcased their talents, business acumen, and innovative ideas in hopes of securing a spot in the next stage of the competition.
The event was organised by a great team of staff, led by Ms. Sarah Quigg and Mr. Evan Gorrell, both of whom worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly. Visiting professionals commended the students for their professionalism and ingenuity, reinforcing the importance of such initiatives in fostering entrepreneurial spirit among young people.
The highlight of the day was the announcement of the top three mini-companies that will advance to the Student Enterprise Awards County Final, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 12th March, in Letterkenny. The selected teams were Coastal Creations, Bonnevie’s Embroideries, and SAF Florist (main pic), all of whom wowed judges with their creativity, business strategies, and presentation skills.
