Based in Dunkineely, Co. Donegal, CFish are looking for a Quality Manager.

DUTIES:
- Ensure compliance with the Animal By Product regulations for transport, storage and production.
- Accreditation of all required Quality and Food Safety standards, ensuring that all BRC Audits are successful.
- Manage the technical approval of all new suppliers and the validation of all new systems, processes and procedures.
- Ensures existing suppliers are regularly vetted.
- Leading the performance, coaching and development of the Team.
- Implement new quality systems as required and updating quality manuals in line with audit requirements.
- Manage customer complaints & undertake root cause analysis.
- Managing product specification completion on time with the specification technologists.
- Manage the sites allergen control procedure and policy.
OBJECTIVES OF POSITION:
- Ensure the effective management of the Company Quality System to ensure that product conforms to customer specifications.
- Manage the Department to ensure a highly motivated, trained and developed staff that is capable of achieving the Department’s business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This is a key leadership role in an organisation who have a real desire to hit and exceed quality standards. Reporting to the Quality Director, you will:
- Develop and maintain project specific Quality Procedures required for the construction of LV Switchgear panels
- Implement and maintain the companies Integrated Management System complying with, ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, ISO 18001 Management systems.
- Perform all internal audits ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Preparation of QA/QC documentation to support project delivery.
- Develop systems for gathering and monitoring of H&S Quality and Environmental data.
- Continuously monitoring and analysing all Project Quality Control procedures ensuring compliance to project specifications
- Work with Suppliers and Subcontractors to ensure that they perform within quality policies and standards
- Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and organised at project completion
- Ensure that the Quality System is effectively established and maintained
- Set Quality objectives for the site in line with corporate goals and customer expectations
- Manage facility wide quality metrics in accordance with corporate standards
- Drive facility quality strategy in line with corporate goals
- Manage customer interface on quality issues.
- Drive Continuous Improvement Programs within the organisation at both a product quality and plant systems level.
- Ensure investigation of problems to root cause and implementation of closed Loop corrective and preventive actions to prevent possibility of a re-occurrence.
- Hold timely Management Reviews in accordance with the requirements of the QMS and C Fish.
- Ensure an Internal audit plan is developed and complied with.
- Ensure resources in place to support requirements of the QMS at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience (1-3 years) in manufacturing process operations would be a distinct advantage;
- Good understanding of quality, environmental and safety management systems;
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team and/or on own initiative;
- Strong technical capability with attention to detail;
- Strong Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills;
- Effective time management and Communication skills.
