Carndonagh woman Maebh Brennan is hosting a coffee morning this April in support of this year’s North West 10k charities.
Maebh, who is the Carndonagh spokesperson for Donegal Horizons CLG, is lending her skills to support the charity’s campagin for funds ahead of the North West 10k.
The second NW 10K beneficiary is the MS Ireland Donegal Branch, which will be sharing in the fundraiser.
Maebh, who is no stranger to providing excellent hospitality, will host her coffee morning on Thursday 17th April from 11am-1pm at Donegal Horizons Carndonagh Centre.
All are welcome to come along for some tea, coffee, chats and of course… cake!
Donegal Horizons CLG comes to the North West 10K shortly after the opening of a new premises in the heart of Letterkenny at the Grand Central Complex.
The charity supports adults with mild-moderate intellectual disabilities and/or autism through a network of community-based projects.
There are 56 trainees using the service between its bases in Carndonagh and Letterkenny. Members gain accredited training and life skills through enrichment learning opportunities and business partnerships.
The North West 10K fundraising will be a welcome support in funding transport, trips and social outings for trainees.
