The next meeting of the Ballybofey, Stranorlar & District Historical Society takes place this evening in The Henderson Hall, Stranorlar, at 8pm.
There will be no guest speaker tonight, however, the gathering will be used to organise and gather information and stories for the society’s annual magazine.
“If you have any stories that have been handed down from previous generations, come along,” a spokesperson for the group said.
“Also, we have a lot of people who read our online posts from all over the world. If you have a story to tell, just get in contact with us and we will do the rest.”
There will be a cup of tea and a chat after tonight’s meeting, and is always very enjoyable.
This free event starts at 8pm in Henderson Hall, Stranorlar (F93 XV29).
Membership of this group is rising all the time, so if you are interested in local history, come and join us.
Meetings and talks take place on the fourth Monday of the month.
