The Convoy Community and Environmental Committees will hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) this Tuesday, February 25th.
The meeting is open to the public and the committees are encouraging residents of all ages to attend and get involved.
The committees are comprised of local volunteers dedicated to improving the village of Convoy. Their efforts include a wide range of activities, from regular litter clean-ups and the provision of hanging baskets, to organising events such as senior citizen parties and the annual Christmas lights display.
They also undertake larger-scale projects, including the development and maintenance of the community park and playground.
This past year, the committees marked the 150th anniversary of Convoy, Ohio, their sister town, by developing a cookbook featuring local recipes from both communities.
