Ballybofey mourns passing of local businessman, Pat Harrold

The Twin Towns community has been saddened by the passing of well-known local businessman, Patrick (Pat) Harrold.

Mr Harrold, of the Glenfinn Road, was a retired contractor, a respected local figure and a friend to many.

He is credited for major projects in the county, including the Ballybofey Shopping Centre.

Mr Harrold passed away today at his late residence surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife Mary, children Maureen, Patrick, Seamus, Kevin, Kate, Dermot, Helena, Aidan, Donna, and his sister Ita. Predeceased by his brother Joe, and Brendan, Kevin and Anthony in their infancy.

He is deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sister, brother in law, sons in law, daughters in law grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Wake and Funeral Arrangements for Patrick (Pat) Harrold Glenfinn Road, Ballybofey, Donegal, F93 F21V:

Reposing at his home on Saturday (February 22nd) from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday (February 23rd) from 12 noon to 10 p.m.

Funeral leaving from his home on Monday (February 24th) at 10.30 a.m. for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery.The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the Parish Webcam at https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar

Rosary both nights at 9 p.m.
Family time on the morning of the funeral please.
