A status yellow wind warning has been issued for County Donegal.
Wind and rain warnings have been issued for many counties along the length of the west coast, ahead of some unsettled weather expected this weekend.
The wind warning for Donegal comes into effect on Sunday afternoon, at 3pm.
Met Éireann are warning of very strong and gusty southwesterly winds for the duration of the warning, with the potential for difficult travelling conditions, and the potential for fallen trees and loose debris.
The weather warning will stay in effect until midnight.
It’s the first weather warning to be issued since the destruction caused by Storm Eowyn in late January.
