One person is understood to have been seriously injured following a road traffic incident outside Kilcar.
The emergency services attended the scene of the incident at Largy on the R263 Kilcar to Killybegs road this afternoon.
Gardai have closed the road and diversions are in place.
No specific details of the incident have been released at this stage.
A Garda spokesperson said the road on which the collision took place is expected to remain closed overnight.
“Please take an alternative route if possible. The road closure is expected to remain in place overnight,” said a spokesperson.
