A brave Donegal tot has been introduced as the newest Honorary Garda in Donegal.
Danny McLaughlin, aged 2, from Trentagh, graduated as a Little Blue Hero with An Garda Síochána yesterday.
The Little Blue Hero charity programme helps gardaí support children in their communities who are undergoing long-term medical treatment for critical illness.
Danny was born with an inoperable brain tumour and gets round-the-clock care from his amazing family, as well as nurses.
Danny and his twin brother Charlie enjoyed a very special day yesterday as they were treated to an impressive display by new front line colleagues including the fire service, coast guard service and ambulance personnel.
