The Termon Drama Group is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, and are kicking off their activities in 2025 with a hilarious play.
The group will present three showings of the hilarious classic “Don’t tell the wife!” next week at the Kilmacrennan Hall.
There will be plenty of laughs, with three shows being held on Friday the 21st, Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of February.
The story is set in the Belfast home of Edna and Bobby Willis, and all is calm until a series of unfortunate misunderstandings lead Edna to suspect that Bobby may have gotten himself “a fancy woman”!
Bobby is played by the very popular Stephen Ferry and Annette Sheridan is back this year to play Edna. Madeline McDaid, one of the founding members of the group, is playing the role of Edna’s gossiping friend- Isobel Tate and Tracey McGrenra, has returned to play the French floozie Georgette!
Newcomer Stevie Sheridan will take the part of Cyril, Bobbys apprentice! The very funny Henry Gallagher takes the role of Basil Charrington, a male escort hired by Edna to make Bobby jealous, although this of course does not go to plan. Deirdre Gallagher is a scream in the hilarious role of Hilda and Gerry McTaggart is about to get his fill of crazy women in the role of Eric Tweedy, the Council Official.
The Saturday night show is sold out but tickets are still available for the Friday and Sunday performances.
Tickets can be bought at Gracies Stores Termon, O Donnell’s Mace Kilmacrennan or by contacting 087 771 6511.
