A man has died after a stabbing in Dublin’s city centre overnight.
Gardaí say that the man was stabbed following a “public order incident”, with RTÉ News reporting that the incident happened after a row broke out between two groups of people who had been out socialising.
He was rushed to St James’ Hospital where he later died.
A second man was also seriously injured in the incident which took place on South Anne Street.
He is currently receiving treatment in hospital for his injuries.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward as they begin their investigations into the tragic incident.
