The family of the late Frankie ‘Bosco’ O’Donnell has raised more than €6,000 for Dungloe Intellectual Disability Services.
Frankie, the beloved son of John Bosco and Bridget, and nephew of Daniel O’Donnell, passed away last month following a battle with illness.
In November last year, Daniel took to social media to appeal to fans to pray for Frankie. He reminded his followers that many would remember Frankie from his time working at the Viking House Hotel, which Daniel previously owned.
This week, the O’Donnell family handed over a cheque for more than €6,000 to Dungloe ID Services.
“Dungloe ID Services would like to sincerely thank John Bosco and Bridget O’Donnell who handed over €6,000 to our services,” a spokesperson for the organisation said.
“Even in the most heartbreaking times of John and Bridget’s life, all through Frankie’s illness and passing, John has still continued to raise money for our services. We can never thank you, and the amazing community that we live in, enough for all you do for our service, year-in year-out -thank you all.”
