A food safety alert has been issued for batches of Donegal Catch salmon fillets that contain undeclared peanuts.
The fillets, flavoured in a barbeque spiced marinade, have been found to contain peanut residue in the garlic powder which is not declared in the list of ingredients.
“This may make the batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts,” said the recall notice from the Food Safety Authority.
The affected batch codes are L22024304 (SNFIIR), best before Sep 2025, L22024326 (SN) best before Oct 2025 and L22024352 (SN), best before Nov 2025.
