A recycling company has donated €1,500 to the Donegal Hospice, after raising the money through selling valuable scrap metal.
Bryson Recycling, a social enterprise company that has six recycling centres in Donegal, raises money for charity each year by collecting valuable scrap metals such as copper from their centres, and donating the money from their sale towards a chosen charity.
This year, Bryson donated €1500 to the Donegal Hospice.
Connie Gallagher, General Manager at Bryson Recycling said that: “We are delighted to donate this money to Donegal Hospice, who provide such a vital service to the residents of Donegal.”
“We started this campaign ten years ago, as it allows us to give something back to the local community where we live and provide our service.”
“We want to thank everyone who has recycled with us and donated scrap metal. Thanks also to our staff for all their hard work in collecting and sorting the valuable metal. It has proven to be very worthwhile.”
