Moville could be in for a new culinary addition after plans have been submitted to transform the town’s vacant Bank of Ireland building into a modern restaurant.
Paul and Louise McElvaney are seeking planning permission for the venture on Main Street.

Plans seen by Donegal Daily show the proposed restaurant may be named “The Bank” in a nod to the building’s previous life.
The plans contain modern interior concepts and a full outdoor dining space, with a BBQ and servery.
The applicants are also seeking to add a first-floor residential apartment. Demolition of the rear single-story extension has been proposed to make space for a new part two-story and part single-story rear extension.
