The friends and family family of a young man from Ranafast who passed away in June of last year have raised €11,2000 for charity in his memory.

Fionán Mac Ruarí sadly passed away on the 8th of June, 2024.

However, his memory is being kept alive by the brilliant efforts of his family and friends following his passing.

Fionán’s cousin, David Weir from Ardara, took on a charity skydive in Dubai and raised an amazing €6,000.

Artist Morag McCafferty also raised €2,450 in Fionán’s memory.

An additional €2,750 was raised by Colm Rodgers.

Their combined efforts led to €11,200 being raised and donated to Pieta House.
